If you have a busy life, you know how important it is to stay healthy and maintain a great body. Taking care of your body is essential, and today, I’m excited to share some fantastic tips from wellness and health expert Lori Harder!
We meet at the beach to discuss beach workouts and how to get fit and trim. Lori emphasizes that every woman wants to feel good, and when you do activities that make you feel strong, that confidence radiates throughout the day. It's common for many women to feel a bit self-conscious when thinking about putting on a bathing suit, but Lori assures us that this workout is designed to help women feel comfortable and confident in their skin.
The beach body workout Lori shares is all about building strong muscles, feeling good, and improving endurance. One of the best parts of building muscle is that it helps burn extra fat and calories, meaning you can enjoy more food while still staying fit and energetic. It’s a great all-in-one bonus!
This workout is simple and accessible for everyone. It involves four moves, done back-to-back, four times through, with twenty repetitions of each move. Lori starts us off with sumo squats and kicks. You stand with your feet in a sumo stance, toes slightly turned out, and hands in a prayer position—or whatever feels comfortable. As you squat down, you kick with your right leg as you come up, making sure your knees don't go over your toes and keeping your chest up. It's fun and a great way to kick up some sand!
Next, we move into the high plank-glute press, focusing on the glutes, abs, and shoulders. We start in a high plank position, bringing the left leg to the left tricep and then pressing up, feeling the burn in the glute. It’s a simple body movement that really works using just your body weight. Lori explains that you can modify the workout to suit your strength level. For example, if full push-ups are too challenging, it’s perfectly fine to drop to your knees. This modification allows you to do more reps and really define your arms and work your abs.
The last move is a V-up, which is fantastic for tightening and defining the abs. Lying on your back, you come up on your bum and lift your legs, using your arms for momentum. Even if you can’t go very high, just reaching your knees or as high as possible can still provide a great workout.
This entire workout not only helps you build muscle and burn fat but also gets your heart rate up, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to achieve that perfect beach body. And if you want more tips and workouts, you can always visit Lori's website at https://loriharder.com/
