Costa Rica - A destination many seek to explore, and one we have longed to experience. So when choosing what destinations to feature for the 4th season of Travel With Didiayer it was an easy YES, in fact, it became a month-long adventure for our team.
Our trip started off with a smooth landing in San Jose, Costa Rica. For the first leg of our journey throughout Costa Rica, we chose to book our transportation through Solisa Travel to get around. And we needed it. With 22 bags and two kids in tow, the extra help getting from the airport to our Resort was much needed!
And while we love to dive into nature and explore our surroundings during the day, we also seek a restful place that welcomes us back at the end of a long day. In Punta Arenas, that restful destination is Fiesta Resort.
Nestled between the Gulf of Nicoya and the expanse of the surrounding mountains Fiesta Resort is a family-friendly all-inclusive resort that ticks off all the boxes when it came to resort stays. We loved our room and the view was breathtaking. One thing that we loved was the incredible fruit platters we ordered to our rooms. They were simply delectable!
While I'm looking for a well-appointed room and comfortable bedding Christopher and the girls seek resort amenities that keep their energy alive.
The resort has beachfront access, expansive pools, and fun and games to keep everyone entertained. It's perfect actually, so much, that one could visit here and never level the resort and experience the luxury, beauty, and culinary wonders of Costa Rica fare.
I've also become a fan of the "all-inclusive" experience - especially with kids. There's something exciting each day to partake with no limits of what you can explore within your package. It made our stay feel like an adventure each day with something new to do, try, or taste!
Our all-inclusive experience included the following.
Four restaurants and seven bars to choose from; unlimited alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and juices; and an assortment of activities from dawn to dusk, including games, sports, and cultural activities. It also included pool aerobics, dancing, cocktail classes, and much more.
One place our kids enjoyed visiting daily was the Kid's Club, which is supervised by professional staff who offered activities from cooking to coloring for kids ages 4 to 12. No matter your kid's age, they make sure each child is smiling, laughing, learning, and most of all having fun! While our kids fit this category, there is a Teens’ Club for youngsters ages 13 to 17.
The nightly entertainment and live shows were hands down the best I have ever experienced at a resort - and I have stayed at a lot of resorts around the world! Christopher and the girls went to every show and had such an amazing time. The team even invited us to have a private dance with the dance team. They were all so gifted and talented.
For those not traveling with kids, there are plenty of quiet places to find yourself in and a great midnight lounge with dancing music. And due to how well the resort is laid out, adults can find themselves feeling far away in their accommodations which is separate from the family accommodations section.
If you're traveling with kids, we highly recommend booking a family luxury room. This guest room has two bedrooms, one king bed, two twin beds, sofa bed, two bathrooms, kitchen area, a living room, dining room, Cable TV, wireless internet, telephone, and air-conditioning. It is completely furnished, with a refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, rice cooker, electric skillet, coffee maker, and all kitchen utensils. Bathrooms each have a shower and hairdryer.
Other import things that Fiesta Resort includes are:
Five conference rooms for up to 450 people with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.

Free Wi-Fi internet in all guest rooms, the lobby, and public areas.

Should you feel the urge to mix in a little recreation with your relaxing, head to the tennis court or beach volleyball area. Of course, you could just sneak away to our Heliconia Spa, an oceanfront sanctuary offering hydrotherapy treatments, massages, facials, saunas, nail services, and more.
Fiesta Resort has thought of everything when it comes to an all-inclusive experience has to offer - even their passion for the environment. The resort recycles, conducts beach clean-up events, and truly is a huge part of giving back to their local community. It is for this reason, beyond the beauty of the resort, we decided on staying here. Knowing that a company cares for its employees and community means something to us - and you can see the passion through the eyes of each employee you meet. There is passion and pride in everything they do and offer. It's a beautiful energy to experience while vacationing, and in our case filming.
We will be featuring Fiesta Resort in season 4 of Travel With Didiayer- so stay tuned, and be sure to follow our new YouTube channel dedicated to travel, where we are posting exclusive video content from our travels.
